Robin practiced with Alan H's throwing gear the Sunday before the games. I had given her one of Jerry's cards and 6 days was more than enough time for Stillwater to get her a kilt to compete in!
Robin did very well for her first competition (and only second time throwing ever!)

I picked up this simple cromach for $25. It wasn't perfect but the price was right. I will finish sanding it down and re-staining it today.

At the end of the day a frosty beer and a hearty German meal was in order (the food at the Tyroleon Inn was incredible.
I know, I know...walkerk's is much bigger than mine, but I had to drive home!
The Loch Lomond Games are a very nice way for the Nor Cal Rabble to end thier Highland Games season.
