    Pardon me calling you by your last name earlier.

    Thank you again. That is most helpful. I have seen that identical colour combination called National Scot...here: http://www.highlandclans.co.uk/Kilt_Hose.html (and worn with a Scotland's National tartan...my first tank...on another page) It may be close to a "universal" colour combination for several tartans ...Leslie modern is another.

    Where did you get yours, if I may ask?

    You have to remember that "tartan hose" are really just a argyle pattern of the predominant colours in your tartan. So certain colour combanations are good for a host of different tartans. These hose were a gift from my wife, and she got them from House of Tartan, and they are the same maker as the ones you linked to. These hose are supposed to work with the following tartans ( and I guess there could be more):
    Bowie (Dalgety)
    Cameron of Erracht
    Cochrane (1984)
    Gillies
    Grant Hunting
    Logan
    MacLennan
    MacClellan
    MacLaren
    MacMillan Hunting
    Muir
    Ogilvie Hunting
    Scott
