Kilted disc golf
Sorry to have been absent from the boards so much for the last couple of weeks. I can only blame my new obsession.... Disc Golf! What makes it even better is when I go to play while wearing the kilt, talk about some pleat swishing
So, since I have gotten into it so much, I decided to have a series of discs custom dyed to separate mine from the rest on the field, below is one of them;
Two others I have had done are "the eye of Sauron" and a soccer ball! I am looking forward to heading to the course tonight (dressed as you see here) to play a round or two.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

I haven't played disc golf in years! Loads of fun.
What a great idea for customizing your disks!

I've never heard of Disc Golf. Thank you for enlightening me. It seems like a lot of fun. Is it common most places. I should like to try playing it some time.

Just to give you a site to look out, check out disc golf course review, it will list the courses in your area for you.

Mike,
You'll have to come out and play Hurricane Shoals some time. It's relatively new and plays half in a field and half in the woods. We took the kids over one weekend and let them run around. We were not using customized discs but dollar store frisbees Had to use a bit of Kentucky windage on those

I'll take you up on that. Might bring a group and get you out there with us! I have plenty of extra discs.
