Another way to save is to deal direct with your kiltmaker and avoid the extra cost and risks of miscommunication and lack of control of buying through a middleman.
Too many tales of woe on this board from using middlemen to order a date sensitive kilt. Never seen a post that a wedding, or other important date, was missed by dealing direct with the kiltmaker - whether hand sewn or machine sewn.
