New York Times book reviews

Since my local paper is little more than a recitation of the latest football scores and local "bubba happenings", I take the New York Times Sunday paper to get some real news. I found this in last Sunday's book reviews.



I haven't read the author, but I love a good detective yarn so I wil probably give him a go.

I found his work a little hard to get started but once I got going I enjoyed his books.

I haven't read the author. Does he specialize only in the detective genre or does he write on other areas as well? Like you I enjoy a good detective story, and I always like to see if the writer works in other areas that may add a different flavor to the work.
