Tank: a term developed on this forum to quickly "describe" a traditional 8 yard 16 -22 oz. wool kilt. With the pleating pattern the fabric is ~3 layers thick all the way across the back
Bunker: a recently arisen modification on the "Tank" theme to denote a kilt having even more gravitas than a tank, in this case IIRC a 22 oz. double box pleated [probably approaching 10 yds. of wool]. This pleat pattern is ~5 layers thick across the back.
