It is always such an honor to meet those who fought the forces of tyranny during those dark days of WWII.
Amongst those I fondly recall meeting are "Pappy" Boyington, a pair of Doolittle's raiders, a neighbor who was in the Dutch resistance as a teenager, my school mates father who was a pathfinder w/ the 82nd Airborne @ Normandy, and my own 2nd cousin who was with Merrill's Marauders in Burma (there are others, but the list would be much too long). I salute them all.
