Thanks for that Rex, an enjoyable article, I particularilly liked this quote

“There used to be ladies and gentlemen,” he said. “Now they have no manners and too much money.”

You don't have far to look to see that nowadays, although it's more like no manners and a presumption entitlement (no money needed).
