I haven't been around much
I haven't posted here much, but I haven't been wearing kilts as much lately either. Ironic, since I wore the kilt every day for four years, and then went back to wearing trousers most of the time. I wore a kilt on a trip to Korea last month, though. No one gave me a second look. Well, if they did, it was because I was white, not because I was wearing the kilt.
Andrew.

Welcome back! I cant say that I've been wearing the kilt a lot (heck I just got my first), but from what I've seen this place is a lot more than just kilts.
I know now that if I need a good laugh, all I have to do is find the right post! I've never seen a group of guys(and gals) more committed to an idea than this one. It seems real simple, this place is about freedom. Nuf said, Welcome back!

Andrew it's good to see you back, I am reminded of the following quote:
Advice for every kilt wearer
"The Highland dress is essentially a 'free' dress -- that is to say, a man's taste and circumstances must alone be permitted to decide when and where and how he should wear it... I presume to dictate to no man what he shall eat or drink or wherewithal he shall be clothed." -- The Hon. Stuart Ruaidri Erskine, The Kilt & How to Wear It, 1901.
A quote that I know I would do well to remember.

Welcome back Andrew! Boy, you take one 'little' walk in shorts and the kilts are packed away!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Welcome back,
Makes sense that pantz will always be a fashion option for men just as skirts remain a fashion option for women after they won the freedom to wear pantz.
