This is the reason we started the kilt accessories forum. That is the place for it. Thanks!

Hank,
That being the case do you think it might be possible to round up all the "loose threads" and weave them into the Kilt Accessories forum?
Cheers!

It was a great idea, Scott, but words like 'arms' and 'weapons' cause too many to tremble and quake. 'Accessories' is so much more comfortable and benign....

How about a "sub-thread" under the "Kilt Accessories" heading?

I don't think Hank trembles or quakes all that much!
But I do think that "Accessories" covers a wide range of things worn with the kilt; from ties, belts, hats, waistcoats, sporrans, knives, swords, and even pistols or rifles.
I, like many of the members here, enjoy the discussions about the historic weapons of the highlanders and highland regiments. Hopefully there will be more and they will be as interesting and enlightening as Puffer's recent ones.
XMTS is a great resource for kilt information. To me it is very understandable that Hank would like to keep the kilt as the main focus of this site.
Since the owner of XMTS has weighed in it seems appropriate that this thread be closed.
Cheers
