Using a Lint Brush on a Kilt?

My kilts don't collect dust. In fact, when dust sees me coming, it runs in the opposite direction and cowers in the corners.




I've been scaring off a LOT of dust, apparently, judging by the corners in my house.

Interesting... I wonder if I could just vacuum the loose hair directly off the cats...

One of the problems is that we have lots of haboobs out here.

I do want to make sure that I keep my kilt, the Stillwater Half Lamont, in good shape and not dammage it with anything. Even though it's a "cheap" kilt in a lot of ways, I'm hoping I can keep it looking good along with the rest of the outfit.

Well... I do use a brush on some of them.

I've actually used a vacuum cleaner on a few of my clothes (not my kilts) because we have lots of dust storms out here that bring in very, very fine dust. It's like having five or six dust bowls every year, and the dust just gets every where no matter how well you cover things up. I need some of those giant zip lock bags for my clothes.

There are air-tight bags on the market to hold clothes, and other items. They are not made to keep dust out, specifically, but rather to take up less space in your closet. You hook them up to a vacuum cleaner and suck most of the air out. I bet they would work well for you.

I've heard of those, and I think they have them at Walmart. Although, I have heard negative things about the bags not staying... decompressed for too long. Guess you don't have to vacuum the air out of them to get the dust proof effect...

Space bag + cat = waste of money.

Bought one, filled it, sucked air out, cat jumped on it and popped it.

Is it popping it when you let the air back in? I don't know...

Now that I think about it, that would be funny. It would suddenly expand under the cat as it filled with air.
