Kilts for Halloween?

Is a cowboy outfit a costume? I see real cowboys with the hat,boots,shirt, jeans etc. all the time in Denver and nearby places....and yet cowboy-dressed people still show up at the doorstep come halloween.

Are doctor scrubs a costume?

As I posted before, people need to realize that it's no big deal if people some folks want to wear ANY kind of clothing for their halloween costume. If you like it, wear it and enjoy!

Very well put. I'd definitely agree. I personaly wouldn't wear a kilt as a "costume" because I've been trying so hard for 3 years to have my work allow me to wear it on a daily basis. If someone else wants to wear a scottish outfit on halloween as a costume, then all power to them.

Personally, I'm dressing up as a sheep.

I'm not knocking someone who wants to dress up in a Scottish outfit for Halloween.

I just incorporated a kilt into a Halloween costume myself.

That said I stand by my words, irishcoloradoan wanted to know if the kilt was OK to wear as a costume. I told him he had to ask that question of himself.

Because ultimately that is who it matters to

Very good Point Jamie...I was more responding to the general sentiment that i was seeing on the thread that kilts were somehow different from other types of clothing....your quote was convenient. As I said, wear what you want and enjoy!
