That's because a kilt, pith helmet, and safari shirt are not at all strange. It's the butterfly net, you see, that's so startling and makes it a costume!

Anyway, who couldn't have a good time in the company of the Goddess-Panaches, whatever you had on? What fun!

    Regards,
    Rex.

Gotta hand it to Panache, he always looks grand!

Now that rose colored kilt of his would make a great base for a All Hollows costume!

I know get an old Bette Midler Tee shirt and he could be the War of the Roses! Or with an AC-DC tee he could be "Whole lot of Rosie", come on Jamie lets see the Rosie!

For some reason, the song "Poor Butterfly" came into My mind while viewing this thread.

Fantastic costumes, as usual. You both just look wonderful. And the Butterfly and collector idea really was a stroke of genius!

Wow! Stunningly effective, Jamie. Congratulations to you both on your fabulous costumes. As others have said, as a family you certainly manage to have a lot of fun.

Halloween is hardly celebrated over here, and certainly it was not when I was younger, but there is a little more evidence of it (especially in shop window displays) as the years roll by. 'That Crowd' in Cardiff, Wales are the only folks I know who go in for partying at this time!

I am sure you will think of something really scary to don tomorrow evening!

    Take care,
    Ham.

I agree with Rex; it's the butterfly net, along with the wife dressed as a butterfly, that makes this a nice way of wearing a traditional kilt on Halloween, without turning the kilt into a costume. That's not an easy thing to do. Well done, Jamie!

Great costumes! Although, I'm glad the Robin Hood pic doesn't show you in lincoln green tights.
