Kilt Strap Extenders - Application
So, kilt strap extenders are sold in sets of three. My two sets just came in from USA Kilts. Since they're sold in threes I've been mentally playing with how to "balance" them.
I have two hand sewn wool kilts that have "shrunk up" on me somehow and both have their attached kilt straps buckled on the very last hole.
Figured if I "balance" all three straps its gonna make the outer apron look a bit "off."
After much pondering realized maybe I only need one kilt strap extender. I can rebuckle the two right side kilt straps more to the middle of the attached kilt straps then just extend the left kilt strap.
That way the right kilt straps and visible part of the kilts look "normal" and the only change would be a shortened underapron which would not be visible. Does that make sense?
Anyone else been through this?
So, now I'm wondering why the kilt strap extenders are sold in packs of three...?
