If you don't mind my asking, why did you think it was 13 or 16 oz material? PV is an 11 - 12 oz fabric... We describe it on our website as 11 oz, just to be sure people know that it's at least 11 oz.
Hi, Rocky,
I'm sure it was a misrememberance on my part, but I'd somehow thought that this was 13 oz fabric. But you're right: It's right there plain as day on the web site. Probably not enough caffeine in my system when I ordered the kilt.
Other than that, I like it! Thanks again for getting it out so quickly!

Q: Would you say that the PV weight is comfortable for spring and fall temperatures (high 60s, low 70s)?
Yes, it will be very comfortable in spring and fall. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to convince myself to wear it out and about here in another month or so: Chicago winters are pretty legendary.

Oh the kilt is beautiful, but love the black cat in the background even more. Seems like the cat is giving approval of the master's new kilt.

11 oz or 16 oz it certainly looks great and great on you! Now put a kilt pin on it. ...and a sporran.
It really is a smart looking tartan.

Good looking, both kilt, wearer and cat, what more could one ask?
