I voted wearing my xMarks kilt today. Had some great conversations in line while I waited my 90 minutes.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Vote as if your future depends on it. It's that important.

I voted first thing this morning. There wasn't any line at all yet. I was VERY happy about that.

I can't vote but all that can should as it affects so many not only in the US but beyond.
Amazing to see the lengthy queues and how long some had to wait in them - haven't seen anyone in a kilt yet in the BBC coverage but fingers crossed!

I'll be voting this afternoon. I'm wearing my Scottish American tartan, white polo, red hose, blue flashes. So basically I'll be dressed in red, white and blue .

I liked the old days when all you needed to determine the next head of government was a sword set in a big rock...

It's funny, even though I now live in a state with mail-in elections, I still like to get up early on Election Day and go in person, at least to hand in my ballot. Ancient Colquhoun and a navy polo shirt.
