The third official motto* of the City of Chicago:
Vote early, vote often.
I at least voted early.
...and we had what we refer to as "The Dreaded Judicial Retention Ballot" wherein all of the Cook County (Chicago's county) judges are put to a referendum as to whether they should continue to be judges or not. In the past there was a box you could check that said "retain all judges" but they did away with that (something about a legal challenge...I dunno...) and now you have to check each and every one of them by name. Brewboy will be happy to know that I voted to retain the Honorable Kathleen McGurie...my classmate in grammar school and the only judge in Cook County that will allow a kilt to be worn in her courtroom...you can go to court kilted now, Rob.
