Voted and kilted. A SWK standard. Polling ladies loved it, and kept me around to chat. Polling place had small lines. Even the local constable was chatty for a change. Of course, I wear the "I Voted" sticker proudly, on my sporran.

number 9... number 9... number 9...

The 9th presidential election to cast my vote; haven't missed one yet since I've been eligible. Arrived at the polling place at 0545 MST & was 7th in line (it opened @ 0600).

Besides the election outcomes, the thing I'm looking forward to the most is a cessation of the never-ending campaigning that we've been bombarded with for 2 freakin' years!!!


Something like the comic below is what I'm afraid we're getting all too close to here in America (& may drive me to apply for citizenship in a country with a more sane & shorter approach to elections).
