Y'know... I've seen Howard Clark L6 - Bainite katanas, gorgeous Howard Clark folders, and even a Howard Clark sgian dubh or two... Sometime in the future I'd love to see a Howard Clark claymore, or basket hilted claymore =P

I agree, much more gentlemanly weapons. I have a set myself.

Let's see if I remember this right. Pointy end goes into the other fellow, right?

Sure, but everyone can swing a toothpick. It takes a man to handle a claymore. Absolutley a nice sword!

Powerful! Can you take a photo of how you'll be displaying it on the wall?

As soon as I get it mounted, as I don't have a drill at home, the ex has all the tools, I'll get a photo.

Yes, that Celtic leafblade is also mine. The blade was forged by Al Massey and the hilt was made by Albion Armorers. So as not to hijack this thread, PM me If you'd like more info or pics.

Nice find McMurdo! I wish I would had never given up my claymore . I have a basket hilt now but, still love any long sword. I like that certain "reach out and touch someone" feeling .
