WWI Era Kilt Apron
My dear husband's grandfather wore a "kilt apron" while in the military. This was to keep the kilt clean. While visiting the wonderful WWI Museum in Kansas City, we found one on display, so for those of you who had always wondered what one looks like, here it is.

I've seen those listed for sale on What Price Glory's site and wondered what they looked like. Now I have an idea, theirs may be different. Thanks for the pic.
