Sporran Repair
Does anyone know of a place that does sporran repair? My wonderful dog decided to bite off two of my fur tassels on my sporran and I was hoping to get the replaced. Shipping it out reallt isn't a problem but anything in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut area would be great!!

Is it just the chain or tassel that needs to be replaced?
I'd check with any kind of Saddle supply or Tack shop in your area. They'd know who to point you to.

Check with any retailer that carries L & M Sporrans. I believe they sell replacement tassels that will work. Worst case you might have to buy 3 and replace all of them.
Start with Matt at the Scottish Tartans Museum.

The chain is still attached, he ate the fur that was attached to the chains! I love my dog, but I'm ripping pissed. They aren't leather tassels, I guess I should have specified that. They are fur tassels on chains. I just need a place that can add two brown fur tassels to the chains.

Sporran components are not easy to find, let alone pre-made tassels in the color, size and style you will need. I would take a photo of the tassels remaining so the store can get as close as possible.
You'll see on L&M's web site that they carry all sorts of sporrans and tassels.

They only show the seal fur tassel on the replacement page but since they make fur tassels maybe they will be able to help. They don't sell to the public though is why you will need to contact a L&M distributor.

That's exactly what I need but my sporran is brown fur, not gray like the one they have pictured.
Who do I find one of their distributers? I can't find a link on their site
