    I'm sorry but I'm not convinced!

    Matt, thanks for the post but I think you may have been a bit hasty.

    Drummond of Perth is ITI No. 1711 which has a sequence which runs: RWBYGRBAW but if you look at this one, the sequence runs: RWGYGRGWY which I'm sure you would agree isn't the same at all. I fear that the greens look a bit too blue and too dark in the scan but I assure you in the flesh they are a reasonably bright green.

    Would you be kind enough to take another look please?

    I'm afraid I am not seeing what you are seeing in your scan. Here it is:


    I distinctly see a navy blue and a green in this image. In your color sequence, you label both of these colors as green. Even if the colors in the scan are not perfect, as you say, they are at least two different colors.

    I've given it a second, and a third look, and to my eye this is none other than Drummond of Perth, aka Perthshire.

    R72 W2 B6 Y2 G32 R16 B6 A4 W2

    This sample seems to match the thread count given by the STA pretty much exactly (as close as I can tell from the picture, that is).
