As my dad says, "It's better to make friends than enemies."
I've always been one who tries to forgive and forget, and move on. Respect the wishes of the bride and groom, and avoid making a huge scene about it. If you feel you must confront your mother regarding this, then do so in private, after the wedding, with a spirit of humility and reconciliation.
That's my advice, anyway. It's worked for me thus far.
