    I urge anyone with relatives or friends who fought in WWII, etc, to gather there stories as memoirs to preserve this history. There are movements around the U.S. to do this very thing.

    That is incredible that Accie Manson has carefully kept the mud-stained kilt his father wore when badly wounded at the battle of the Somme in WWI. I still have my uncles Eisenhower Jacket that he wore in WWII and some of his medals.
