I was not kilted, but I did carry a WWII ex-pow and his wife in my 1931 Model A Ford Victoria during the local Veterans Day parade. I was in my old uniform. It was rather chilly that day and they were glad to ride in an enclosed car instead of one of the open touring cars. In all we had 10 antique cars. Oldest was a 1909 REO touring. Mine was the newest. In addition to the REO, there was a Maxwell, Studebaker, Jones 6, and several other Model A's and T's. We carried 11 ex-pow's. Great parade, lots of spectators.
