    How do I buckle this?

    This is puzzling.. the pleats look great...

    Did you try to put it on while liying in your bed... I've heard that using a fork helps when it's really tight.
    Wait... Did you read the instruction manual or are you winging it???

    definietly needs some tack welds to hold it in place, them finish it up with nig TIG'ing...

    Why bother with the buckles? I'd suggest using a heavy duty, air operated, staple gun with inch and a half staples. That should hold everything in place without it slipping down. Would work great for that kilt that isn't quite tight enough when worn with a PC and waistcoat.
