Dry cleaner in San Diego area?

Never really had need for a dry cleaner prior to acquiring my kilts.

Any of the San Diego rabble have recommendations for cleaners they use and trust? I live in Hillcrest/Mission Hills, but not opposed to driving.

    TIA.

Um, standard advice for dry cleaning kilts has been DON'T DO IT! NO, NO, NO, NO....

Lots of threads on the subject here with alternatives...think maybe a tutorial from Steve at Freedom Kilts.

You can do wonders with a portable steamer.

Far too many dry cleaner disaster stories posted here for you to risk it.

Most dry cleaners are really pick up points for a large dry cleaning factory...

Check the options before risking dry cleaning.

Wow. Hadnt even thought about that. Glad I asked before just heading to the cleaners.

Will give the tutorials a look over and see what I can do on my own.

Thanks for saving me some possible major headaches.

I absolutely agree with Riverkilt. Stay away from Dry cleaners. There are some people that use them, but they know them well and trust them to do it right. Dry cleaning a kilt isn't an easy task from what I hear, and can be easily messed up.

There are many alternative options as Ron has said. If you use the search function you'll find many a thread regarding the issue.

    Good luck!
