    Galbraith Kilt!

When I got home Friday I was pleasantly surprised with a key to the parcel mailbox. Inside was a box from USA Kilts. I knew that this was the kilt that I won and I quickly rushed home and inside to try this on. The first thing I noticed was after I opened the box is that the kilt unfolded perfectly with no wrinkles. None. Not a single one.

The second thing I noticed was that it was pleated to the stripe. This was a awesome surprise because I already have a Galbraith Kilt (acrylic from Highland Inspirations) that is pleated to the sett. I left the pleating arrangement up to Rocky because, lets face it, the man is an artist. I was very happy with his choice. So was my wife. She loves the pleats!

Third thing I noticed was how perfectly it feels, sits, and moves on me. This is my first kilt that is made specifically to my measurements.

But enough babbling. I know you all don't want to read a novel about another extremely satisfied customer of USA Kilts....You guys and gals just wanna see pictures:

I cannot begin to tell everyone here how great this kilt is. I simply cannot find the proper words to describe how thrilled I am with this kilt. Rocky, you are a wonderful artisan and I will be back for more! Thanks again!

P.S. I cannot wait to get dressed up this Christmas! I bet my mother never thought she would hear me say that.

Looks great! I always prefer stripe than sett.

    Congratulations!
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

It's always good to read a post where someone is as excited about a new kilt as you so obviously are. I hope you have many happy years wearing it, congratulations.

    Kind Regards,

    David.

My USAK semi-trad Hunting MacLeod is also pleated to the stripe.

Sharp look and a great tartan. Looks like the kilt will look great with maroon (match the red) hose too. Your clan tartan is always the favorite. Enjoy.

Is that a premier? I notice the selvage is smooth, not fringed.
