A new twist...
So I'm all sure you've heard the "Hey, that guy is wearing a skirt!" comment, only to hear from a (probably gorgeous) woman that "Only real men, secure in their masculinity, can wear kilts!" Well tonight, my friends changed it up a bit. Tonight at dinner, we were talking about the coolest superheroes ever, and my friend Matt made a joke about my kilt.
"Haha, Greg is so insecure about his masculinity, he has to wear kilts, the most manly things ever!!!"
You know, I have to agree--kilts are really manly!

I would call that an offkilter joke.

If I wanted to dress like a woman I'd wear pants....

Ron,
Quite right...men wear trousers, not pants.

Sounds like something good and bad all wrapped up into one... kind of like haggis.

Yep pants are what you wear under your trousers.

In the UK pants can mean trousers as well as undergarments.

It was all lighthearted, so we shared a laugh. But really, I never thought I'd hear them use the standard "You wear kilts so you must be secure" backwards!
