New Advertiser- Bit of a Rant

I just noticed a new advertiser at the bottom of the page and I was curious to see what they had to offer.

Imagine my surprise when I see they are offering their version of "The Original Hose Toppers" as conceived and designed by yours truly. I guess I should be flattered that they felt the product was good enough to be a part of their product line but (rant part coming) it would have been nice if they had let me know that my concept was being used.


Is it sour grapes? No. I wish Flamingo Kilts success in the future.

But a "Thank you for the idea." or some recognition as the original developer would have been greatly appreciated.

Mikey hose toppers have been around for a long long time and you did not conceive of them nor design them. Henry Ford didn't produce the first car just the first assembly line. Mikey you aren't Henry Ford or the king of the kilt hose. Be sure brain is engaged before putting mouth in gear.

No but he was the first to use it for mass production. Sorry for not being exactly clear. Too tied up in my own rant.

Was there really any need for this post? Sydnie has already made very clear that they've resolved the issue. (see below) Perhaps you could take some of your own advice, and apply it to "reading all posts before replying?" You added absolutely nothing to this thread that had not already been stated and nearly two weeks after the fact to boot.

Yes, Big Mikey and I have kissed and made up. . . that is. . .err. . . We are back to being one big happy family. I'm very happy to see that, just as with my own family, we can air things out in a civilized way and come away friends.

Now -- buy them from him, or buy them from me, or from Matt or anybody else mentioned above -- but everybody go get cuffed!
