Like Sir Sean Connery. I can't take sitting like Prince Charles - too painful.

I'm a Connery kinda guy, although I have to say, I rarely think about it anymore, I just.....sit. I think I'm beyond thinking (caring?) about it. Never been a problem.

Although, there was that time at the Pleasanton highland games when a group of us were walking back to the clan tent. I dropped something, bent over, picked it up, and went on my way. Several minutes later, a dear elderly lady with her cane slowly walked up to me, put her hand on my shoulder, leaned over and whispered, "Bend at the knees, lad!".......... Then she hobbled off.

I learned my lesson on that one. But I wonder if I made her day?!?

Not really a sitting kinda story, but funny, none the less!

Connery ALWAYS. I have tree-stumps for legs, and attempting the Charles without prior very inappropriate manual adjustment would, 9 times out of 10, result in crossed eyes and severe vocal octave shift. Emily Post be damned.

Not the girlie-mahn way P.C. sits. As long as I am wearing a sporran or tuck down the front I sit like Sir Sean.

    Connery always.

I had to maneuver a picnic bench seating arrangement at St. Arnold's Brewery when we had an HHGA fund-raiser last week. For the kilted, it was best to sit at the end of the bench rather than the middle. I had to keep tucking my sporran when sitting in the middle.
