One more thing on my wish list! I want one! 
Ron, You are correct. The sahuaro are limited to the Sonoran Desert. Their cut off point is about 3000 ft elevation. You can see exactly where they stop driving north on I-17. I believe that at higher elevations in the high desert the winter temps are too cold for them. (So I've been told.)
