More like Connery, I'm afraid, though narrower.
It might be unladylike but my hips just don't allow the PC on a normal height chair.
That could be one reason why my kilts all have deep under apron pleats and fairly narrow aprons, a design which has developed over time.
If I put my left foot up on a chair there is enough fabric for the apron edge to hang normally on the right and the outer edge of the first small pleat is against my left ankle. The under apron pleat contains almost the same length of material as the apron itself, measured at the waistline.
That means that I can step over stiles, climb over gates and the like without the aprons separating, and when sitting the aprons drop modestly, even without the aid of a sporran.

Me too. Some of us can't sit with our legs together for very long. I do, however, appreciate the way Prince Charles dresses.

Connery. Even at a hockey game or some other event that has stadium seating...

I said like Connery. Holding the legs tightly together like Chuck just seems unnatural.

Connery all the way. I also tend to prefer sitting on an ottoman or a stool than in a chair or sofa, since it helps me keep from leaning backward too much, which then makes it possible for my legs to be higher than my rear.
