St Andrews Day on Sunday
Hey everyone,
Not that we need an excuse to wear a kilt, but Sunday Nov 30/08 is St Andrew's Day!
I am going to wear my Black Watch kilt on Sunday in celebration!
Happy Kilting.

I'm not going to any celebrations, I'm just going to take the family out somewhere but I will be wearing my modern kilt in the Kerr (my family) tartan and my son will be wearing his SW in Black Stewart.

I intend to wear mine to Mass, even though it is officially, (and will be celebrated as such) First Sunday of Advent.

My sons and I will be at church in all our kilted glory: me in my USA Kilts 5-yard Macduff red modern; 16-year-old in his SWK Irish National; and my 11-year-old in his SWK heavyweight black shadow tartan.
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

I'll be kilted in church as well (I should say as usual). But I think I'll dress it up a bit with an argyle jacket. Also, just got new fully-fashioned kilt hose from Matt Newsome, so they'll have their first outing.

I'll join in and will be kilted watching the Baltimore Ravens play the Cincinatti Bengals at the Dock of the Bay. Go Ravens!

Let's please keep the thread on the subject of kilts and St. Andrew's Day, given that general religious discussions are verboten under forum rules.
Thanks!
