Thank you, Sandford, for some wonderfully evocative images. I spent just one day last June touring the Isle - keeping to the coast as much as possible - and believe it to be one of the most tranquil and beautiful places I have yet visited. Sadly, one day is not long enough but other places were calling me. I vow to return there 'ere long and maybe stay for a week ........... if not for ever!
