    Isle of Skye Plaid

    Take a look at this. I'm not that familiar with mohair. Would this work as an oversized flyplaid?

    My experience with Mohair is that it is wonderfully soft and warm. I wouldn't use it for a fly plaid though, it is just too soft a hand. For a light weight "travel rug" type of use, it would be really nice. My advice would be the same. Spend just a little more and get a twill weave. (same as your kilt)
