    Right, at least on this side of the Atlantic. Boutonniere used to mean a single flower (most often a carnation or perhaps a rose) worn in the left lapel button-hole. (hence the name).

    Actually I have seen far worse looking outfits than the one worn in the picture. (No, I won't go into details, show pictures, or name names!) After all, it is your wedding day.

    I am not a lover of fly plaids, but wear them both if it keeps everyone happy.
