New kilt coming
My wonderful wife has put in the order at Stillwater for a Standard Weathered Mackenzie for my Yuletide gift! So now I have to jones for almost a month before I can pull it out of the box.

Congratulations!
That's the worst though! A kilt that will be here by Monday, that you can't have for a month! ouch

Much envy here! It's fine-looking kilt -- I've had my eye on one of those for a while.
(Note to my wife: hint, hint )

Maybe it will be a short lesson in the jonesing that occurs when ordering from a "traditional" kilt maker, just for further referencing. In fact, while I wait on my Newsome, I have ordered two SWK just to fend of the Jones!
Congrats

As someone who has been on Matt Newsome's waiting list, as well as Barb Tewksbury's waiting list, and a few others, I really have to say waiting a month is nothing. Heck I waited longer than that for a pair of hose.

Congrats! If I ever get to order mine it will not be here in time for Yule, but it will be my gift from my wife too. Rocky is going to get my business for the first one, my wife wants to visit some friends that we found out live a few blocks away from Rocky, so once it is done, we're going to drive up to pick it up

Congratulations on the new kilt.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
