Cool to see all three 'clansmen' wearing the same tartan.

Now, for the posters talking about viking ancestry, you do know that Viking actually means 'raider/pillager'...and it only applies to the actual scandinavians that wreaked havoc in England (mostly) and other areas of continental Europe, right?

Just to clarify that a bit, as I see the use of the word viking to be inclusive of all scandinavian tribes. So I guess unless you can trace your lineage for certain back to Ivar the boneless himself...I'd stick to scandinavian...but then again, saying your ancestry is viking rings a bit cooler.

I too think it's great that three generations are able to share in a grand Thanksgiving and honor the mother's side! My mother was a Hanna and I plan on new kilts for me and the wee lad next year. Great pics!

Three generations. That photo is definitely one that should be framed.

In the days Ron was referencing, the big-dog Scandinavian pillaging the Hebrides was Olav, second-generation Norse King of Man, who was not only Somerled's rival raider, but also his father-in-law, thanks to the machinations of Olav's stepbrother, Murdo MacNeill, progenitor of Clan MacIntyre.
But, dang it, I'm sidetracking again, aint I?
As I said before, Eric, those photos are a real delight, thanks for sharing them with us.
Keep spreadin' the word, and keep inspiring us all to keep on representin'!
