If people want to visit Iceland I think that the summers are the best time. You can cath the midnight sun and see the nature flourish and it's actually not that cold here in the summer! The heat was at average this summer about 25-28 degrees on Celsius. But financially the best time would be NOW! The exchange rate between foreign currencies is very good for you guys now, and abviously not for us here. That's why a had to cancel my first kilt order!!

Truly excellent photos, Gunnar. Of course the landscape helps, but the photos as a whole show clearly that you have a fine eye for dramatic composition.

I really like your pictures, Gunnar. I have been in Iceland twice and the landscapes are simply fantastic. Last time was five years ago where I took part in a marketing seminar in Reykjavik.
One afternoon at the Blue lagoon I had a little talk with an American professor. He asked me if I did understand how a small country like Iceland obviously made it so economically well. I didn’t, he neither.
We talked about aluminum production, tourism, fishing and came to no conclusion. Then it must be the Americans that pay them for something, he concluded. It didn’t make much sense, but nothing that we could imagine did. Now we know.
Hopefully you can now benefit from more tourists. At least your country is very much worth a visit.
