Hello!!
Hi all,
I am the Scot who is marrying joshmccl, I come from a family who pride themselves on our Scottish history. The men in my family love any gathering in which they can show of their kilt, the Young tartan, and on some occasion the Royal Stewart tartan. My fiance and I are eager to join the Highland games this year, and are feeling pretty confident in the wife carrying contest!! Anyone know the date and location??
Well bye for now, and talk again soon.
wee Robyn

Welcome from Roswell, Georgia. Which games are you referring to? There are lots and lots of them.

Where 4 Scotsmen gather there'll usually be a fifth.

Welcome, Wee Robyn!
Though my "big clan" is MacIntyre, I have a maternal relation to Clan Scott, so indeed I have a tender heart for those dashing Borderers like the Youngs!
Doubtless the Youngs & the Scotts rode on a few cattle raids together, or as they would have said in their words, back then: "There'll be a Moon tonight!"
