I agree with reason number 10. Take a look at your wardrobe. If someone is wearing those long "athletic" basketball shorts that are baggy and have the crotch down by the knees then why not wear a kilt? The kilts look better.

And to make it even worse, they're wearing PLAID baggy-**** synthetic basketball shorts now. I saw a young fella walk by with these on (in twenty five degree weather with just his hightops on and no socks, by the way) and thought for a brief moment that I had sighted another kiltie...nope...just a slob.
