    Matt the "colour" photo posted was touched up in photobucket, I would not be so sure that those are the true colours.

    But it does illustrate the fact that his kilt is tartan, not solid. There was another one posted that, even though B&W, clearly shows the tartan pattern.

    Oh I know I posted that one originally. I just meant that the "colour" photo you were referencing had dubious origins.

    Oh dear, I didn't mean to post duplicates. Terribly sorry. I think I can only keep up with maybe 2% of the posts here these days. But yes, the larger version does indeed show it to be a tartan. I should have paid closer attention.

    And Glen, I see you earlier found the same cache of photos. This must be it, the beginning of the fall... I'm slipping...
