    mini kilt and strap extenders

Would strap extenders work for a mini kilt? Or are the straps on the mini kilt thinner than those on a man's kilt.

Hubby's getting me a mini kilt from Scotsweb for Christmas and I was wondering how to keep it fitting nicely when I'm pregnant again...tehehe!

Straps used on a woman's kilted skirt (of any kind) are usually 3/4" or 1" wide while kilt straps (and extenders) are available in 1 1/4" or 1 1/2".
