Best of luck I go in today for next weeks procedure. Today I need to get the Esophageal Manometry test done at 2:30 ( no eating or drinking from now to the test.)

Good luck with that. The surgery is minor but the healing of those cut muscles will take a long time. Believe me.

The craft work has gone out of surgery these days though.

No more neat lines of stitches, it is either staples, rivets or glue.

Here's hoping that you get a nice straight join.

Thanks to all for their kind prayers and wishes. I'm home and feeling very much like I've been kicked in the groin but all went well. Never had a surgery before so this was a new experience...one that I'd be happy not to repeat soon even though the hospital staff was as nice as could be.

Couple of days sitting around and I'll be back on the horse.

...and booger the luck! I get home to find a card in the mail slot which states that the postman had a package to deliver and since there was no one home, it went back to the post office to await my picking it up! Most likely my new kilt from bobilishious! Now I have to crawl over to the post office.....

Consider the reward at the end of that crawl!!!! Do however take it easy, returning to the body and fender shop is no fun even if they do provide nice things like young nurses to oggle and zombie pills
