XMTS Desert Island Discs
southern breeze got a good thread going with his "what are you listening to..." post, but it's somewhat become a what's your favorite music thread. So let's get right down to it with a proper desert island discs thread.
a lot of these types of lists usually come with a lot of rules like only one album per artist, no compilations, etc... the only rule here will be that we list ten favorite albums with which to be stranded on a desert island.
so i'll kick it off. listing only ten albums was very difficult for me. i started with twenty and had to cut it back down to ten. i'm sorry to say that i'll live out the rest of my days on the island without any motorhead, ewan maccoll, ramones, elvis costello or happy mondays ... so then, my list is heavy on the punk and pop, so i'm hoping to bump into someone on the other side of the island who is well versed in jazz and classical, erm...preferably a female. happy thanksgiving, all.
