Bath Christmas Market

On Sun we took of on the train to Bath, where they always have a really good christmas market ... there must be 150 stalls plus scattered around the little streets and squares ...
Sat night we had some close friends around who live away a bit now and we only get to see them about 4/5 times a year


They went home late and we had to be up by 6am .. heres a pics from our little garden with the moon and church tower just after 6am


Then it was on to the station ... where we started to meet and have a cuppa




Then we were on the platform


Elaine sorted every1 in their seats


And we were off

We were soon in Bath .. its just over an hour train journey for us and it was a glorious day

After a while Arwyn and myself decided to leave them all to it and have some refreshments ... This is where we went


We soon settled in


With a pint each of this ..4.7% .. twas lovely


The little pub was very cosy

Then we took off to find the others

We all bought some fab cheese here






the stall was by the church


Then we went for lunch in the same little pub ar and me went


And when we came out we met another cilt/kilt wearer ... i told him about x marks

How I miss the European outdoor markets, Verona Italy always had a fantastic Christmas market, but I was not kilted back then.

Then we took off back to the market








There were musicians playing pan pipes and selling their cd's

I've passed through Bath on the train a few times, keep meaning to stop off there some day for a walk about.
