COLD! Though I thought less so than last year.
For the most part where I was covered in wool I was OK, but my knees were like blocks of ice and stayed that way until long after I got home (45 min drive). They were also a very pretty shade of red!

Sometime when you're out and about, would you snap a picture of the McKnights tavern site? Martha McKnight, daughter of the tavern keeper, is an ancestor of mine.....so obviously, so is her father, and HIS father, who emigrated from Ulster in 1730.

Looks like a great time. I saw this on TV the other night (travel channel I think) talking about the 10 greatest Christmas cities in the US. Alexandria came in 4th or 5th because of the Scottish Christmas Walk.
