    Not to throw a monkey in the wrench or anything, it was twenty years ago when I could look that good in the above displayed jackets. That was back when I had a head of hair.

    Seriously, I purchased a standard black wool dress coat for less formal situations. One could consider that option for matters less then state.

    I voted for the Kenmore. So many options with it: buttoned up, with jabot; or with a bow tie; unbuttoned with any number of possible waistcoats; unbuttoned with just a belt. Of course, I'd want it made up in velvet.
