I'll have to come over and check that out soon. I thought the belt and chain would work fine but after close inspection, I like that rig set up.

You should have seen Arlene's face when I told her I wanted to make a solid X-Kilt to wear other places than just Ren Fest.

Okay, I thought it was based on a personal preferrence but being new round these here parts I thought it would be wise to ask!!! thanks for reaffirming my initial thought! And thanks for the advice!!! Once I get the hanger sorted out I'll get some new and hopefully better pics posted.

Especially after I came home with an arm full of cloth (yes its solid black), velcro, needles and threads!!!!! I may have enough for a second so dont get any just yet!!!! I might try to do a test pleat, before I get fully started though. I like the look of the double box pleat, I'd like to see how that turns out on some scrap cloth Ive got. Just call before you head on up!!!

I agree with the end result being a bit busy, but over all you have done a very nice job. My personal taste runs to the more simple, following Sullivan's dictum that form follows function. Mostly a matter a taste, though. Good work.
